    Eleana

    Eleana

Program for the analysis of spectroscopic data, in particular EPR(ESR)

...It allows you to import data from Bruker spectrometers such as Elexsys or EMX and data from any ASCII file or imported from the clipboard. The program is under constant development, but already has many functions implemented for spectral analysis. Some of the basic functions include: baseline corrections, filtering, spectral clipping, integration / differentiation, pseudomodulation, filtering, etc. More advanced functions are: Forward / Inverse Fourier Transforms, Hilbert Transforms, Nonlinear Curve Fit, Global Analysis Fit of Multiple Curves, and many other. It is also possible to create your own plugins extending Eleana's functionality.

    JSpecView Project

    JSpecView Project

    Spectroscopy Viewer

The JSpecView Project initially provided JAVA applets for the display of JCAMP-DX and AnIML/CML spectral files. The source and binary files are available via the Code (sourceforge SVN) and Files menu options. See the WIKI pages (Hosted Apps) for more detail. Beginning September 2018 all code changes are being handled via the Jmol Sourceforge page. The codes has been fully merged and JSmol the JavaScript/HTML5 version of Jmol now includes the non-Java version of JSpecView.

    Radiance

    Radiance

Highly accurate ray-tracing software system for UNIX computers

...Radiance is superior to simpler lighting calculation and rendering tools in that there are no limitations on the geometry or the materials that may be simulated. Scene geometry, materials, luminaires, time, date and sky conditions (for daylight calculations) are specified; spectral radiance (ie. luminance + color), irradiance (illuminance + color) and glare indices are calculated. Simulation results may be displayed as color images, numerical values and contour plots. Radiance is useful for architects and engineers in predicting illumination, visual quality and appearance of innovative design spaces; and for researchers in evaluating new lighting and daylighting technologies.

...It supports statistical modeling and data analysis along three main directions: (1) probabilistic graphical models (Bayesian networks, Markov random fields, dependency networks, hybrid random fields); (2) parametric, semiparametric, and nonparametric density estimation (Gaussian models, nonparanormal estimators, Parzen windows, Nadaraya-Watson estimator); (3) generative models for random networks (small-world, scale-free, exponential random graphs, Fiedler random fields), subgraph sampling algorithms (random walk, snowball, etc.), and spectral decomposition.
