KOReader is a document viewer for E Ink devices. Supported fileformats include EPUB, PDF, DjVu, XPS, CBT, CBZ, FB2, PDB, TXT, HTML, RTF, CHM, DOC, MOBI and ZIP files. It’s available for Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook, Android and desktop Linux. Runs on embedded devices (Cervantes, Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook, reMarkable), Android and Linux computers. Developers can run a KOReader emulator in Linux and MacOS. Multi-lingual user interface with a highly customizable reader view and many typesetting options. You can set arbitrary page margins, override line spacing and choose external fonts and styles. It has multi-lingual hyphenation dictionaries bundled into the application. Custom UI without animation, with paginated menus, adjustable text contrast, and easy zoom to fit content or page in paged media. Look up words with StarDict dictionaries / Wikipedia, add your own online OPDS catalogs and RSS feeds, share ebooks with other KOReader devices wirelessly.

The PoDoFo library is a free, portable C++ library. It can parse and modify existing PDF files and create new ones from scratch. It also includes several tools to work with PDF files. It features an unique approach which provides access to PDF documents via an object tree. Therefore, PDFs can be created and or manipulated using a simple tree structure. The beamer class is focused on producing (on-screen) presentations, along with support material such as handouts and speaker notes. Content is created in a frame environment, each of which can be divided up into a number of slides (actual output pages). A simple 'action' notation is used to specify which material appears on each slide within a frame. The class supports a range of environments to enable complex slide relationships to be constructed. The appearance of slides is controlled by a template system. Many of the elements of slides can be adjusted by setting simple key-based values in the preamble. More complex changes can be implemented by altering specific, targeted definitions without needing to rewrite entire blocks of code. This allows a variety of visual appearances to be selected for the same content source.

PGF is a TeX macro package for generating graphics. It is platform- and format-independent and works together with the most important TeX backend drivers, including pdftex and dvips. It comes with a user-friendly syntax layer called TikZ.

The IEEE 1905.1 standard describes a convergent digital home network for heterogeneous technologies, such as PLC, WLAN, Ethernet and MoCA. This dissector enables Wireshark to understand, display and analyze IEEE 1905.1 traffic. It is implemented as a LUA script and can thus be easily plugged-into an existing wireshark installation. The user supplies axis labels, legend entries and the plot coordinates for one or more plots and PGFPlots applies axis scaling, computes any logarithms and axis ticks and draws the plots. It supports line plots, scatter plots, piecewise constant plots, bar plots, area plots, mesh and surface plots, patch plots, contour plots, quiver plots, histogram plots, polar axes, ternary diagrams, smith charts and more.

VimTeX is a modern Vim and Neovim filetype and syntax plugin for LaTeX files. VimTeX requires Vim version 8.2.3995 or Neovim version 0.9.5. The requirements were updated in April 2024 after the release of VimTeX 2.15. If you are stuck on older versions of Vim or Neovim, then you should not use the most recent version of VimTeX, but instead remain at the v2.15 tag.
