This project aims to provide a method for listening on a serial port and decode incoming messages from a Galaxy security control panel. The messages are transmitted using the SIA DC-03-1990.01 (R2000.11) protocol. The decoded messages are stored in a database (MySQL) or forwarded by email using ssmtp. Besides just listening for messages openGalaxy can also be used to arm/disarm the panel and much more... This software is still in a testing (beta) phase but has been tested successfully... -

isolabel is a program that allows you to change volume label in ISO 9660 image file after it was already created. Moreover, you can specify ISO 9660 and Joliet volume label separately, taking advantage of fancy names in Joliet together with simpler, but longer name in ISO 9660; something that tools like mkisofs/genisoimage does not allow you to do in standard compliant way. dhcp-gen is a perl script that was written by me and Trond Erik Dalho to simplify editing dhcpd.conf for adding static ip to computers and equipment on our school. It also made it easier to do manage the network by limiting some computers access to the local network only. Creating closed networks. And it also worked as a database over all our computers and equipment, making it easier to keep track of everything. All information about equipment is stored inside csv files which are comma separated. -
