    BriPy

A BRIC-seq data analysis package written in Python.

-What is BRIC-seq? BRIC-seq, short for 5'-bromo-uridine (BrU) immunoprecipitation chase-deep sequencing analysis, is a novel method in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) to determine the RNA stability of each transcript. It employs metabolic labeling by BrU of newly synthesized RNAs to chase chronological decreases of BrU-labeled RNA (Pulse-chase labeling), followed by immunoprecipitation with antibody for BrU, construction of cRNA library for High-throughput sequencing and computational data analysis. -What is BriPy? BriPy package is a BRIC-seq data analysis tool written in Python. It can calculate RNA half-life for each transcript and draw graphs describing the kinetics of RNA decay. In the future, it will provide several useful modules(e.g. calculating RPKM of each transcript from BAM file or ELAND output file). -Prerequisites To use BriPy package, you will need Python and the following extension packages. Python2.7 or higher NumPy SciPy Matplotlib

    CANStream

    CANStream

An applicaton for CAN bus coms development, testing and validation

CANStream is a .NET application intended to be used for CAN (Controller Area Network) bus communication development, testing and validation. CANStream allows to extensively test any system using CAN communication by sending and receiving CAN frames. Thanks to its powerful built-in mathematical expression evaluator, CANStream can also behave as a real control system feeding back the test device or commanding a third party device with context sensible data. Extended data logging and data analysis features of CANStream provide a comprehensive solution for testing and results analysis CANStream extensively uses the PCAN-Basic API developed by PEAK System for the PCAN-USB adapter You will therefore need to have PCAN-USB adapter and at least one free USB port available to make a complete use of CANStream. CANStream can manage up to eight PCAN-USB adapters at the same time, thus you will need eight USB ports available.

    CT4AM

    CT4AM

Tools for 3D image analysis of additively manufactured parts

CT4AM is a cross-platform toolkit for 3D-image processing in the domain of additive manufacturing for toolpath visualisation or correlation to tomographic data and related materials science. It is written in C++ and provides small, problem-specific applications for viewing, analysing and visualising of volumetric data from micro-CT scans with respect to the complex process parameters and characteristics of additive manufacturing. Moreover, data analysis and processing of G-code are key assets of the project. The main objective is not to provide yet another complex application for volume data visualization and medical image processing. Instead, CT4AM is a collection of small and simple apps that have already been successfully used to solve various problems in materials science and process visualization. You can either execute these tools directly or use their source codes to develop your own application for toolpath analysis or correlation.

    CrimeKgAssitant

    CrimeKgAssitant

Crime assistant including crime type prediction

CrimeKgAssitant is a Chinese-language legal NLP project that combines offense prediction, consultation classification, automated answers, and knowledge graph queries. It organizes data around criminal charges, sentencing cases, legal question-and-answer pairs, and related legal information. A multiclass model predicts likely offense categories from written case descriptions using document embeddings and a support vector machine. Separate classifiers sort consultation questions into predefined legal categories before retrieving or generating relevant responses from the prepared knowledge base. The repository includes training scripts, inference programs, dictionaries, models, and utilities for building the question-answer database. Its published experiments use millions of case records and hundreds of thousands of consultation pairs. The software is intended for research and demonstration and does not replace qualified legal advice.

    DBSolveOptimum

    DBSolveOptimum

The software for systems biology/pharmacology modeling

DBSolveOptimum is a stand-alone software tool for the construction and analysis of mathematical models of biological systems. It is a succession and extension of DBSolve 5 and DBSolve 7, which were popular tools for systems biology. In addition to the capabilities of these software packages, DBSolveOptimum is implemented with new tools for extended data analysis and multiple simulations, which are important for simulation of virtual clinical trials and application of modern modeling techniques, like quantitative systems pharmacology, to problems arising in drug research and development. By this time, DBSolveOptimum has been successfully tested and applied for the development and analysis of both systems pharmacology and conventional PK/PD models of drugs. It is free for academic and industrial use. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20698988

    DMETANALYZER

A tool for supporting pharmacogenomics data analysis

We developed DMET-Analyzer a tool for the automatic association analysis among the variation of the patient genomes and the clinical conditions of patients, i.e. the different response to drugs. The proposed system allows: (i) to automatize the workflow of analysis of DMET-SNP data avoiding the use of multiple tools; (ii) the automatic annotation of DMET-SNP data and the search in existing databases of SNPs (e.g. dbSNP), (iii) the association of SNP with pathway through the search in PharmaKGB, a major knowledge base for pharmacogenomic studies. DMET-Analyzer has a simple graphical user interface that allows users (doctors/biologists) to upload and analyse DMET files produced by Affymetrix DMET-Console in an interactive way.

DSTK - DataScience ToolKit for All of Us

DSTK - DataScience ToolKit is an opensource free software for statistical analysis, data visualization, text analysis, and predictive analytics. Newer version and smaller file size can be found at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/dstk3/ It is designed to be straight forward and easy to use, and familar to SPSS user. While JASP offers more statistical features, DSTK tends to be a broad solution workbench, including text analysis and predictive analytics features. Of course you may specify JASP for advanced data editing and RapidMiner for advanced prediction modeling. DSTK is written in C#, Java and Python to interface with R, NLTK, and Weka. It can be expanded with plugins using R Scripts. We have also created plugins for more statistical functions, and Big Data Analytics with Microsoft Azure HDInsights (Spark Server) with Livy. License: R, RStudio, NLTK, SciPy, SKLearn, MatPlotLib, Weka, ... each has their own licenses.
