    pv-migrate

    pv-migrate

CLI tool to easily migrate Kubernetes persistent volumes

...However, it is not as simple with PersistentVolumeClaim resources: They are not only metadata, but they also store data in the underlying storage backend. In these cases, moving the data stored in the PVC can become a problem, making migrations more difficult.

    xLaDe

    xLaDe

    A Lean 4 Ecosystem Framework!

...It is an ecosystem-level tool, which records the toolchain and other metadata of projects and allows the reconstruction and rebuilding of that exact environment later. Lean 4 undergoes rapid development, which can introduce backward-compatibility issues. This problem becomes more difficult as the versions accumulate over time. xLaDe is built to mitigate the practical issues of backward-compatibility problems and improve ecosystem-level tooling for the Lean 4 theorem prover. Instead of directly solving backward-compatibility issues by storing every version of Lean 4 and other tools or providing cross-version compatibility, xLaDe tries to store sufficient environment metadata such as toolchains, dependencies, and other context, and then recreates the environment for running Lean 4 projects upon request, also termed as experiments in xLaDe.

    Cherrybomb

    Cherrybomb

Cherrybomb is a CLI tool that helps you avoid undefined user behaviour

...It checks your API's spec file (OpenAPI Specification) for good practices and makes sure it follows the OAS rules. Then, it tests your API for common issues and vulnerabilities. If any problems are found, Cherrybomb gives you a detailed report with the exact location of the problem so you can fix it easily. With a configuration file, you can easily edit, view, Cherrybomb's options. The config file allows you to set the running profile, location of the oas file, the verbosity and ignore the TLS error. Config also allows you to override the server's URL with an array of servers, and add security to the request.

    Bank Vaults

    Bank Vaults

K8s operator, Go client with automatic token renewal

The Vault Swiss Army knife, which makes enterprise-grade security attainable on Kubernetes. It has many 'blades' that cut through the security problem: the Bank-Vaults operator provides automation; a Go client with automatic token renewal that provides dynamic secret generation, multiple unseal options, and more; a CLI tool to initialize, unseal and configure Vault with authentication methods and secret engines; and direct secret injection into Pods to reduce the attack surface. ...

    PathPicker

    PathPicker

Accepts a wide range of input, output from git commands & grep results

...After parsing the input, PathPicker presents you with a nice UI to select which files you're interested in. After that you can open them in your favorite editor or execute arbitrary commands. Facebook PathPicker is a simple command line tool that solves the perpetual problem of selecting files out of bash output. Bash is fully supported and works the best. ZSH is supported as well, but won't have a few features like alias expansion in command line mode. csh/fish/rc are supported in the latest version, but might have quirks or issues in older versions of PathPicker. Note: if your default shell and current shell is not in the same family (bash/zsh... v.s. fish/rc), you need to manually export environment variable $SHELL to your current shell.

    pcp - Peer Copy

    pcp - Peer Copy

Command line peer-to-peer data transfer tool based on libp2p

Command line peer-to-peer data transfer tool based on libp2p. There already exists a long list of file transfer tools, so why bother building another one? The problem I had with the existing tools is that they rely on a limited set of servers to orchestrate peer matching and data relaying which poses a centralization concern. Many of the usual centralization vs. decentralization arguments apply here, e.g. the servers are single points of failure, the service operator has the power over whom to serve and whom not, etc. ...

    NGSbinningpytools

Python tools for binning NGS scaffolds to various genomes.

Next generation sequencing has opened new avenues for sequencing prokaryotes which were difficult or either impossible to culture. Now, it is possible to sequence all organisms present in a metagenomic community. However, a critical problem is to determine the host organism for each genomic fragment present in the dataset. This project provides the computational tools for assigning the organismal identity for each genomic scaffold in the given dataset.
