    Summarize

    Summarize

Point at any URL/YouTube/Podcast or file

...It’s built around a CLI workflow so you can summarize from the terminal, but it also includes a Chrome extension so you can do the same thing directly while browsing. The project pairs an on-device “daemon” style background service with user-facing commands and extension UI, so summaries can feel immediate and repeatable once installed. It’s designed for people who constantly triage information and need a fast way to turn long, messy sources into short, actionable takeaways. The repository includes troubleshooting guidance for common extension and connectivity issues, which signals that the tool is intended for daily use rather than one-off demos. ...

    ssh-pull-id

pulls ssh-id from a host instead of pushing to a host

ssh-pull-id is a command line tool that does what ssh-copy-id does but in the opposite direction: instead of pushing your ssh-id to another machine, it pulls another machine's ssh-id into your host. the tool was made with Ubuntu Touch in mind, because its default ssh config is such, that ssh-copy-id won't work. this is because Ubuntu Touch device does not accept ssh client with password authentication, but only with public key based authentication. and copy-ssh-id itself uses password authentication to connect first, then push public key to the remote host, so that later key based authentication can be used instead. ssh-pull-id will reverse the direction, now you use the tool to pull another host's public key. the typical scenario it was created for, is when you use it on Ubuntu Touch device, and pull is made from another host which allows password based authentication.

    stakka_klm

Kernel module to manage Disc Stakka Units

Kernel Loadable Module to interface with the Disc Stakka units. Other devices to be implemented if/when I can get my hands on them. Objective is to separate the user application from the tedious management of the device (eg. constant polling to prevent their reset function, USB interaction requirements). A /dev device is created per chain through which applications can read/write status and commands. A command-line tool is included to assist with testing and to illustrate the /dev interface. Built with information from various sample coding done by others over the years, who are referenced in the code comments - many thanks to those that have gone before me.
