File manager for Unix (X11/Motif)
XFile is a compact file manager for Unix and alike systems running X11. It presents the file system as is, without imaginary locations, trashcans etc. XFile uses its own file type/association database in typical Unix/RC like syntax, which is easily editable. Mounting support for file systems defined in fstab, and integration with mount daemons that manage a dedicated media directory is also included. rc.stupid a Linux daemon that: - repeatedly runs a start script at system startup until this script exits with zero status - regulary runs a check script - runs a stop script at system shutdown Why ? Because startup systems like systemd and upstart are sometimes hard to tune in many situations, like MySQL data directory on a networked filesystem. As rc.stupid does nothing other as running scripts (or anything that may be executed) you may find other use cases like simple clustering. -

Arduino open source PID motor control
This low cost project is a RC servo like position control of one or two geared motor(s) with a pot as angle feedback. You can send the arduino microcontroller a value from 0 to 1023 and the arduino will control the motor speed and direction to reach your target value. The PID algorithm will insure that the motor will not get into hold vibrations if the pot has some influences.
