Real-ESRGAN ncnn Vulkan is an optimized, cross-platform implementation of Real-ESRGAN using the ncnn neural network inference engine and Vulkan for hardware acceleration. Unlike the standard PyTorch-based Real-ESRGAN code, this variant is written in C/C++ and designed to run efficiently on many platforms (including Windows, Linux, and possibly Android) without requiring heavy frameworks like CUDA or Python. binary releases of VS Code without MS branding/telemetry/licensing
Microsoft’s vscode source code is open source (MIT-licensed), but the product available for download (Visual Studio Code) is licensed under this not-FLOSS license and contains telemetry/tracking. The VSCodium project exists so that you don’t have to download+build from source. This project includes special build scripts that clone Microsoft’s vscode repo, run the build commands, and upload the resulting binaries for you to GitHub releases. These binaries are licensed under the MIT license. Telemetry is disabled. If you want to build from source yourself, head over to Microsoft’s vscode repo and follow their instructions. VSCodium exists to make it easier to get the latest version of MIT-licensed VSCode. Please note that some Visual Studio Code extensions have licenses that restrict their use to the official Visual Studio Code builds and therefore do not work with VSCodium. -

nwipe is a fork of the dwipe command originally used by Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN). nwipe was created out of a need to run the DBAN dwipe command outside of DBAN, in order to allow its use with any host distribution, thus giving better hardware support. nwipe is a program that will securely erase the entire contents of disks. It can wipe a single drive or multiple disks simultaneously. It can operate as both a command line tool without a GUI or with a ncurses GUI. -

ModernFlyouts is an open source application designed to replace the default Metro-style flyouts in Windows with a more modern, Fluent Design–based user interface. Instead of the old built-in popups for system feedback like volume, brightness, and airplane mode, ModernFlyouts temporarily intercepts those events and displays customizable flyouts that blend more seamlessly with recent Windows UI aesthetics. It extends beyond audio flyouts to cover media controls, brightness changes, airplane mode toggles, and even lock key indicators such as Caps Lock and Num Lock, offering a unified experience for all these system notifications. Users can adjust not just the look but the behavior of these flyouts (including layout, position, opacity, and animation) letting it feel more natural to individual preferences. The project’s roots trace back to AudioFlyout by ADeltaX, with further enhancements added by the community to support more flyout types and improved interaction. -

tmux is a terminal multiplexer
tmux is a terminal multiplexer: it enables a number of terminals to be created, accessed, and controlled from a single screen. tmux may be detached from a screen and continue running in the background, then later reattached. This release runs on OpenBSD, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, OS X and Solaris. tmux depends on libevent 2.x, and on ncurses. To build tmux, a C compiler (for example gcc or clang), make, pkg-config and a suitable yacc (yacc or bison) are needed. Some platforms provide binary packages for tmux. -

Restore/upgrade firmware of iOS devices
A command-line application to restore firmware files to iOS devices. The iDevice restore application is a full reimplementation of all granular steps which are performed during the restore of firmware to a device. In general, upgrades and downgrades are possible, however subject to the availability of SHSH blobs from Apple for signing the firmware files. idevicerestore requires a properly installed usbmuxd for the restore procedure. Please make sure that it is either running or configured to be started automatically as soon as a device is detected in normal and/or restore mode. If properly installed this will be handled by udev/systemd.
