    Py3DN

Morphometric analysis and visualization of the 3D structure of neurons

Py3DN, is an open-source solution providing innovative tools to analyze 3D data collected with the widely used commercial system Neurolucida (MBF). It allows the construction of mathematical representations of neuronal topology, visualization and a variety of morphometric analysis on the neuronal structures. Above all, it provides a flexible environment where new types of analyses can be easily set up allowing total freedom to test new hypotheses. The application was developed in Python and uses Blender (an open source program) to produce detailed 3D representations of raw and processed data. ...

    myCStock

An other free stock market software in C++/Python

A parser for real-time update of stock market prices and a graphical interface with technical indicators. It is a small personal project initiated for extending my knowledge in C++ and Python, designing a GUI and, in a next stage, applying mathematical and statistical models to stock market prices analysis and prediction. If you have the same interest than I in experimenting and disussing design software and statistical models in finance, you are welcome to join the project. If you are searching for a stable and complete software, you may come back later on... At the moment, the documentation is available on the Wiki and the source codes contain a doxygen configuration files which must compiled after downloading the source.

    OpenCMISS-Zinc

    OpenCMISS-Zinc

A Library for Interactive Modelling and Visualisation

The OpenCMISS-Zinc Library (opencmiss.org/zinc), or Zinc, is a software library for building interactive graphical modelling and visualisation applications. Models are represented in Zinc as mathematical fields defined over domains, including finite elements with support for high-order basis functions, complex parameter mappings and time variation, and image-based fields. Further fields can be defined by mathematical expressions and algorithms on existing fields, including image processing filters. Zinc model data structures are dynamic, supporting interactive applications which programmatically create, destroy and modify parts of models.

    Error Propagation Calculator

    Error Propagation Calculator

Easily propagate measurement errors through mathematical operations.

Error Propagation Calculator is essentially a cross-platform GUI front-end for the Python Uncertainties library that does not require knowledge of Python to use. Simply point and click to enter values and errors, input your expression and press compute. The program evaluates native Python code, but the user does not need to know the syntax as common operators are provided as buttons, similar to a scientific calculator. -Evaluate expressions with as much as 26 different variable and error...
