    Algorithm Visualizer

    Algorithm Visualizer

Interactive Online Platform that Visualizes Algorithms from Code

Hacker Scripts is a light-hearted collection of small automation and demo scripts that solve amusing everyday tasks or illustrate quick integrations with external services. The repo collects short programs (originally a set of shell and Ruby scripts) and many community contributed ports in other languages to show “how you might automate X” — for example sending a quick SMS, firing off an email, or triggering a coffee maker — with examples and scheduling snippets included. The README explains...

    Go Recipes

Collection of handy tools for Go projects

Visualize the distribution of code coverage in your project. This helps to identify code areas with high and low coverage. Useful when you have a large project with lots of files and packages. This 2D image-hash of your project should be more representative than a single number. For each module, the node representing the greatest version (i.e., the version chosen by Go's minimal version selection algorithm) is colored green.

    Delta

    Delta

A viewer for git and diff output

Code evolves, and we all spend time studying diffs. Delta aims to make this both efficient and enjoyable: it allows you to make extensive changes to the layout and styling of diffs, as well as allowing you to stay arbitrarily close to the default git/diff output. Language syntax highlighting with color themes. Within-line highlights based on a Levenshtein edit inference algorithm.

    DynamicHMC

    DynamicHMC

Implementation of robust dynamic Hamiltonian Monte Carlo methods

Implementation of robust dynamic Hamiltonian Monte Carlo methods in Julia. In contrast to frameworks that utilize a directed acyclic graph to build a posterior for a Bayesian model from small components, this package requires that you code a log-density function of the posterior in Julia. Derivatives can be provided manually, or using automatic differentiation. Consequently, this package requires that the user is comfortable with the basics of the theory of Bayesian inference, to the extent...

    LinearSolve.jl

    LinearSolve.jl

High-Performance Unified Interface for Linear Solvers in Julia

LinearSolve.jl is a unified interface for the linear solving packages of Julia. It interfaces with other packages of the Julia ecosystem to make it easy to test alternative solver packages and pass small types to control algorithm swapping. It also interfaces with the ModelingToolkit.jl world of symbolic modeling to allow for automatically generating high-performance code. Performance is key: the current methods are made to be highly performant on scalar and statically sized small problems, with options for large-scale systems. If you run into any performance issues, please file an issue.

    Nano ID

    Nano ID

A secure, URL-friendly, unique string ID generator for JavaScript

Nano ID is a library for generating random IDs. Likewise UUID, there is a probability of duplicate IDs. However, this probability is extremely small. Meanwhile, a lot of projects generate IDs in small numbers. For those projects, the ID length could be reduced without risk. This calculator aims to help you realize the extent to which the ID length can be reduced. Instead of using the unsafe Math.random(), Nano ID uses the crypto module in Node.js and the Web Crypto API in browsers. These...

    Illustrated Algorithms

    Illustrated Algorithms

    Interactive algorithm visualizations

Inspired by Grokking Algorithms and python-execution-trace, this project aims to reveal the mechanics behind algorithms via interactive visualizations of their execution. Visual representations of variables and operations augment the control flow, alongside actual source code. You can fast forward and rewind the execution to closely observe how an algorithm works. The same code that is displayed next to the illustration is also decorated using babel-plugin-trace-execution and executed to record the context at every step. Literally the same source file. Going back and forth between function execution (and call stack when algorithm uses recursion) is effortless. ...

    PortOpt

    PortOpt

    A portfolio-optimizer using Markowitz(1952) mean-variance model

PortOpt [Portfolio Optimizer] is a C++ program (with Python binding) implementing the Markowitz(1952) mean-variance model with agent's linear indifference curves toward risk in order to find the optimal assets portfolio under risk. You have to provide PortOpt (in text files or - if you use the api - using your own code) the variance/covariance matrix of the assets, their average returns and the agent risk preference. It returns the vector of assets' shares that composes the optimal portfolio. In order to minimise the variance it internally uses QuadProg++, a library that implement the algorithm of Goldfarb and Idnani for the solution of a (convex) Quadratic Programming problem by means of an active-set dual method. ...

Small calculator coded in c++. Intended to be used in a terminal, takes argument(s) and outputs the result(s) chronologically. The code is about 200lines, and benefits from the shunting yard algorithm. This is not a complete calculator, don't know if it will be because i only coded it to enable myself to do quick calculations while in a terminal. Therefore it does not check for typos, and a wrong formulated expression may result into a segmentation fault. It's infix notation, and as long as you remember to always include 2 numbers per operator(including -) it should be fine. ...
