Started as an experiment to learn about Qt, Borneo is a simple and minimalist web browser using QtWebKit, and centered in open source technologies and operating systems. Borneo want grown until to be a simple but competent web browser. Microsoft announced a new browser in 2015 that would take the place of IE: Project Spartan. Dismayed by this, we decided to make a modded version of the Pale Moon browser that looked and acted like IE. In doing so, we created BringBackIE. BringBackIE is our initiative to, well, bring back Internet Explorer. We hope you enjoy and not get too upset with this browser. Long live IE!

There is the default browser in Windows operating system with a so called „kiosk mode“ to prevent access to other applications. This is a very useful feature, but there are applications in which the browser is only allowed to display a window, the navigation (the move forward and back) must be banned, the window size is arbitrarily adjustable, the window name as desired and the context menu of right mouse clicks must be banned . For example, when it comes, that an application displays a help text, which is available as an HTML page. For this purpose, the author has developed a small open source program called „Browse2“, based on Visual Basic 2008

CSS Preprocessor is a parser, compiler, and assembler which extends the CSS language to allow nested rules and attributes, variables / @mixin, functions, and especially, strong validation of your source code so you know that it will work the first time you use it in your browser. The library is written in C++ allowing any other C++ project to work with CSS without having to rewrite their own parser. The library supports 4 output levels from ultra compressed CSS code to beautified CSS code. The preprocessor features are based on other existing CSS processors such as SASS and {less}, although the syntax is mainly based on the SASS syntax (i.e. variables use the $ character as their introducer). Discovery Browser is an open-source desktop web browser that introduces a new way to browse the web through a card-based interface. Instead of traditional tabs, each webpage opens inside a movable floating card that can be freely positioned, resized, and layered across the workspace. This approach allows users to visually organize multiple websites and multitask more efficiently. Cards can also switch between different viewing modes, including Normal View, Wide View, and Full Screen, depending on the browsing experience needed. To keep the workspace organized, cards can be minimized into bubble indicators for quick access without cluttering the screen. Discovery Browser also includes built-in download management, customizable header themes, and automatic handling of external links opened from other applications. Gives you the ability to share & manage files from your windows pc on another device(MAC,LINUX,ANDROID etc) in the same network without needing another application on the receiving(client) end, (the client uses the devices browser to download, or view/modify files). It contains an inbuilt http server hence no need for an application on the receivers end. The host turns on the application and the client opens the browser and types the ip address including the port ( the application automatically generates it, hence no need for ipconifg on cmd or any other ways to get ip), then he has access to all the files on the other pc with a very beautiful interface. the client also has a possibility of watching videos, playing music and images directly on his or her browser without having to download it. Depending on whether there is read write access, the client can move files to other directory, delete multiple files, download multiple files to his/her own device and many other options
