    Flux Download Manager

    Flux Download Manager

Open-source Windows download manager for files, media and torrents.

Flux combines HTTP/HTTPS files, supported video/audio and native BitTorrent in one Windows x64 desktop queue. It offers automatic or 1–32 connections, verified pause/resume, SHA-256 checks, schedules, bandwidth limits and persistent history. Chromium and Firefox extensions detect supported media and open a desktop approval window. Media tools support HLS/DASH, MP4/MKV, MP3/MKA, subtitles and chapters. Native torrents include magnets, file selection and seeding controls. 20 languages; automatic language detection with English fallback. Installer, portable and source packages are available. Flux-owned code is MIT licensed. Before downloading, install/enable the browser extension and launch Flux once to register its local bridge. Media access depends on source permissions; DRM/login challenges are not bypassed. Firefox ZIPs need Mozilla signing for permanent installation. Windows executables currently have no Authenticode certificate.
