Open Source Java Barcode Generators

This project consists from a java based framework to create barcode images (EAN13, EAN8, UPCA, UPCE, Code 3 of 9, Codabar, Code 11, Code 93, Code 128, MSI/Plessey, Interleaved 2 of 5, PostNet, etc).

Barbecue is a Java library that enables the creation of barcodes in a variety of standard formats that can be displayed as Swing/AWT components, included in printed output, generated as EPS and SVG and displayed in a web application.

ZXingLite for Android is a simplified and extremely fast version of ZXing. Based on the ZXing library, it optimizes the functions of scanning codes and generating QR codes/barcodes. The scanning interface fully supports customization, and one line of code can also use the default scanning function. In short, everything you want is here. By inheriting CaptureActivity or CaptureFragment and customizing the layout. (Applicable to most scenarios, and you don’t need to care about the code scanning related logic, you need to override the getLayoutId method when customizing the layout) Implementation examples: CustomCaptureActivity and QRCodeActivity. Instantiate a CameraScan in the Activity or Fragment of your project. (Applicable to use when you want to write interactive logic on the code scanning interface, and cannot directly or indirectly inherit CaptureActivity or CaptureFragment due to project architecture or other reasons)

A QR code is a two dimensional barcode that stores information in black and white dots. J QR Code Generator is a simple easy to use QR code generator that works offline and completely free. Current version support to generate QR Code for plain text, website(URL), SMS, and Email (more will be added in next version).

JBars is a java barcode generation tool. Barcodes can be accessed as a URL using JBars barcode generation servlet, as a PNG file or as a Java Image. Supported barcodes are: Code128,Interleaved2of5 and Code93

JImageTaglib is a Java Tag Library for displaying server-side generated and/or manipulated images, in a JSP. Apply effects, resize, show subparts of an image, change image colors, display thumbnails, generate barcode, apply text, etc. Highly extensible.

Socr3 is a plugin-oriented, open source platform upon which I'm building an OCR suite. The name Socr3 stands for "Open Source Optical Character Recognition, Reading, Rendering, and Exporting", and is subject to change in the future.
