This is a C library to check the validity of German and Austrian Bank Account Numbers. All currently defined test methods by Deutsche Bundesbank (Dec 2017: 00 to E4) are implemented. Modules for AWK, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, C#.net and VB.net are included too. The package includes also an IBAN converter to generate (german) IBANs and BICs from account data. All currently defined IBAN rules by Deutsche Bundesbank are implemented (Dec 2017: 57 rules) and tested against independent solutions.

The gawkextlib project provides several extension libraries for gawk (GNU AWK), as well as libgawkextlib containing some APIs that are useful for building gawk extension libraries. These libraries enable gawk to process XML data, interact with a PostgreSQL database, use the GD graphics library, and perform unlimited precision MPFR calculations. These extensions work with GNU AWK version 4.1.1 or later. We have created a framework for packaging gawk extensions, and we welcome further contributions. Recent additions include haru, redis, and select for I/O multiplexing. -

TraceMAC is a Windows/Linux command-line tool that allows you to trace a specific MAC address thru Cisco switches. It works by connecting to a switch using SSH, SNMP, Telnet, HTTP or HTTPS and do some "show commands" and later process the output, this will happen recursively until it finds the switch where that MAC address (PC/Printer/Etc) is directly connected. Backup solution based using git and rsync next level
Etckeeper-ng is a bash script which uses git and rsync awk sed and find to create a backup directory of your /etc linux directory. It is easy to configure. The default configuration should work on most boxes. Just make sure you have git rsync and all the other requirements installed. When you use the etckeeper-ng the first time open a terminal and type "etckeeper-ng init" to create your first initial backup or "etckeeper-ng help" to show the help for this script. -
