Python bindings for the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF). CEF Python is an open source project founded by Czarek Tomczak in 2012 to provide Python bindings for the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF). The Chromium project focuses mainly on Google Chrome application development while CEF focuses on facilitating embedded browser use cases in third-party applications. Lots of applications use CEF control, there are more than 100 million CEF instances installed around the world. There are numerous use cases for CEF. Use it as a modern HTML5 based rendering engine that can act as a replacement for classic desktop GUI frameworks. Think of it as Electron for Python. Embed a web browser widget in a classic Qt / GTK / wxPython desktop application. Use it for automated testing of web applications with more advanced capabilities than Selenium web browser automation due to CEF low level programming APIs.

The Software Testing Automation Framework (STAF) is a framework designed to improve the level of reuse and automation in test cases and test environments. The goal of STAF is to provide a complete end-to-end automation solution for testers.

This framework supports a wide variety of model-based GUI testing techniques. The innovation lies in the architecture of GUITAR, which uses plug-ins to support flexibility and extensibility. Software developers and quality assurance engineers may use this architecture to create new toolchains, new workflows based on the toolchains, and plug in a variety of measurement tools to conduct GUI testing. Lepton image compression, saving 22% losslessly from images at 15MB/s. Lepton achieves a 22% savings reduction for existing JPEG images, by predicting coefficients in JPEG blocks and feeding those predictions as context into an arithmetic coder. Lepton preserves the original file bit-for-bit perfectly. It compresses JPEG files at a rate of 5 megabytes per second and decodes them back to the original bits at 15 megabytes per second, securely, deterministically, and in under 24 megabytes of memory. We have used Lepton to encode 16 billion images saved to Dropbox, and are rapidly recoding our older images. Lepton has already saved Dropbox multiple petabytes of space. At Dropbox, the security and durability of your data are our highest priorities. As an added security layer, Lepton runs within seccomp to disable all system calls except read and write of already-open file descriptors. Lepton has gone through a rigorous automated testing process.

The Java-Based-GUI-Test-Automation-Library (jabuta) provides the possibility to test software on a GUI-based level.

Note this project is in alpha, it works but is not pretty. This project offers a way to debug libraries loaded by third party programs. It is also great to use if trying to find a problem that occurs very infrequently or during automated testing.
