After a short learning phase, z will take you to the most 'frecent directory that matches ALL of the regexes given on the command line, in order. For example, z foo bar would match /foo/bar but not /bar/foo. The rank of directories maintained by z undergoes aging based on a simple formula. This project allows pam to authenticate users against anything. We have a sql database of users with hashed passwords that we want to use for an sftp server. pam-anyauth combined with pam configurations allow the sftp server to permit/deny based on current credentials in the database. There is room to add more types of authentication and improve the overall process. -
