mp3guessenc is based upon the original project by Naoki Shibata. This command line utility was born to detect the encoder used for a mpeg layer III file but now it can do more and scan any mpeg audio file (any layer) and print a LOT of useful information. Latest modifications include fixes, new features and code optimizations.

This Java software is useful to set id3v1 and id3v2 tags on mp3 files, possibly in a massive way. It helps you managing a song database, searching for duplicate songs. It has a rename file utility, not only for mp3 files. It has an utility panel to create playlists, re-organize files in folders with the name format you prefer, an utility to optimize the CD disk space. This program was written in 2002, so I don't remember much about it ... but I used it a lot, as much as my close...

Repackaged what was needed to use jAudioTagger as a library in Java. Made it usable as a netbeans project. Added targets in the build.xml to produce sources jar and javadocs jar for the library jar that is produced. Also uploaded are those jars (that I couldn't find anywhere else).

Software oscilloscope using Python and tkinter. Supports multiple sources: socket, file, audio, USB. Displays data by samples, time or frequency. Scales the input automatically or manually. It has been renamed "pdatascope" to avoid a name-clash with Pyscope, a scoping package on PyPi. See https://sourceforge.net/p/pydatascope/ for the latest code.

Zwicker's Loudness Calculation (ISO532B) Tools. The project includes a loudness calculation program based on Zwicker's Method, and a WAV file analyzer generating data files for loudness calculation. Documentation and test files are also provided.

Timecode is a library for analysing timecode vinyls. After submitting samples, it returns commands like speed, direction and position for any media player which supports this library. It is written in operating system independent c++ code.
