LAME is an educational tool to be used for learning about MP3 encoding. The goal of the LAME project is to improve the psycho acoustics, quality and speed of MP3 encoding. Note: we provide source code only!

mp3guessenc is based upon the original project by Naoki Shibata. This command line utility was born to detect the encoder used for a mpeg layer III file but now it can do more and scan any mpeg audio file (any layer) and print a LOT of useful information. Zwicker's Loudness Calculation (ISO532B) Tools. The project includes a loudness calculation program based on Zwicker's Method, and a WAV file analyzer generating data files for loudness calculation. Documentation and test files are also provided.

Timecode is a library for analysing timecode vinyls. After submitting samples, it returns commands like speed, direction and position for any media player which supports this library. It is written in operating system independent c++ code.
