p3d is a general data-reduction tool for use with fiber-fed integral-field spectrographs (IFSs); although, the spectrum viewer works with spectrum data cubes of any origin. PyCosmic is a tool to detect and clean single images from the disturbing cosmic ray hits. It was designed and tested specifically for CALIFA and other fiber-fed integral-field spectroscopy dataset.
