Viewing options allow the user to control which sky objects to display, which font to use, and manipulation of various star parameters. Time may be set to run at multiple speeds, including backwards. Star charts may be printed. Night Vision is written in 100% pure Java, allowing it to run on all major desktop systems (includes PCs, Macs, Linux, ...), thus it requires the Java Runtime Environment (8 or later) be on your system. It has been designed to be readily translatable into other languages.

Nowadays the idea of a music of the spheres, or a cosmic music that descends from the planets seems more like poetic philosophy than anything scientific. MoonPlanner is a Java calendar that allow to view moon's phases, moon's signs (constellations in which the moon is), and show the part of the plant corresponding to each sign (flower, fruit, leaf or root). For every calendar's day the user can attach notes (that are stored in a persistent database). At the startup the program will remind you if there will be notes for current day. Timezones and localizations (En, IT) are supported by the application. This calendar is usable between 1900 and 2020. This tool can be useful to plan gardening tasks or to view some astrology informations.
