PROPER is a library of routines for the propagation of wavefronts through an optical system using Fourier-based methods. It was developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for modeling stellar coronagraphs, but it can be applied to other optical systems were diffraction propagation is of concern. It is currently available for IDL (Interactive Data Language), Matlab and Python (3.x). It includes routines for generating complex apertures and obscurations and aberrations (Zernike & PSD-defined). It includes a model of a deformable mirror for wavefront control. The routines perform near and far field propagation with automatic selection of propagators. The latest version is v3.3.1 (IDL & Matlab) and v3.3.4 (Python). Please report any bugs using the Tickets tab.

p3d is a general data-reduction tool for use with fiber-fed integral-field spectrographs (IFSs); although, the spectrum viewer works with spectrum data cubes of any origin. The tool is built about the proprietary software IDL (Harris/EXELIS; see http://www.harrisgeospatial.com), but can be used without any license. Most slowly running loops are implemented in parallelized C (OpenMP).

CometCube - software that used to analyze datacube(FIT format) obtained from radio telescope. This project is using IDL evironment and language.

GBTIDL provides offline data reduction for spectral line data from the GBT, a single dish radio telescope. Although the GBTIDL code is open source, running it requires you to have your own IDL license and base package.

Tokenizer and translator for the IDL language, principally used with the IDL environment from ITTVis and GDL.

This is a set of spectral models for use in the astronomical X-ray spectral modeling program XSPEC. The models calculate X-ray emission line Doppler profiles from the winds of OB stars.
