One persons quest to keep outdated hardware out of our landfills by putting them back in use with a modern lightweight Operating System. Linux LucidPup 5.2.8 and SlackoPup 5.3.3 have been used as the base OS for this project for two reasons, compact and portable. Both versions come in two flavors: "MeatyBones" basic barebones get the job done with Wine and Boinc pre-installed "BaconBits" which is the Flagship of this project and will come with "BoincTasks", "SetiMapView" and "SETIsprint" pre-installed atop of Wine and Boinc. The two ISO's have been remastered from the basic downloadable versions available anywhere on the internet. Both ISO's have been scanned twice with Avast and Nortons antivirus and both have been tested in good to awesome condition. This simple console application requests two-line element sets (TLE) for given space satellites and saves it to the file. You can manage satellites by configuration file. First line of the config file is the API base address. You shouldn't change it usually. Second line of the file is the default API key. It's strongly recommended register on the website "n2yo(dot)com/api/" and get your own key due to limitations of amount requests. To personalize list of the satellites, add your desired satellite IDs at line 3 and further. As an example, there are three satellite IDs added by default.

This library implements the serial commands supported by the Celestron NexStar hand control (HC) and SkyWatcher/Orion SynScan HC. This applies to the Celestron: NexStar GPS, NexStar GPS-SA, NexStar iSeries, NexStar SE Series, NexStar GT, CPC, SLT, Advanced-VX, Advanced-GT, CGE, CGEM etc. SkyWatcher: EQ5, HEQ5, EQ6 (Pro), AZ-EQ5 GT, AZ-EQ6 GT, EQ8 etc. and the corresponding Orion mounts. Communication to the hand control is 9600 bits/sec, no parity and one stop bit via the RS-232 port on the base of the hand control. Communication can be established over TCP/IP if nexbridge is running on the computer connected to the telescope. Galaxia is a code for generating a synthetic model of the galaxy. The input model can be analytical or one obtained from N-body simulations. The code outputs a catalog of stars according to user specified color magnitude limits.

Hammurabi is a HEALPix-based tool for simulating observables such as polarized synchrotron and thermal dust emission from models of physical inputs such as magnetic fields, dust and electron distributions, etc. It is a modular C++ framework into which you can add your own models easily and then use it to perform the line-of-sight integration to compute the observables.
