    LinAsm

    LinAsm

Collection of fast and optimized assembly libraries for x86-64 Linux

LinAsm is collection of very fast and SIMD optimized assembly written libraries for x86-64 Linux. It implements many common and widely used algorithms for array manipulations: searching, sorting, arithmetic and vector operations, unit conversions; fast mathematical and statistic functions; numbers and time converting algorithms; finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters; spectrum analysis algorithms, Fast Hartley transformation; CPU cache friendly functions and extremely fast abstract data types (ADT) such as hash tables b-trees, and much more. ...

    UniSIMD-assembler

SIMD macro assembler unified for ARM, MIPS, PPC and x86

UniSIMD assembler is a high-level C/C++ macro assembler framework unified across ARM, MIPS, POWER and x86 architectures. It establishes a subset of both BASE and SIMD instruction sets with clearly defined common API, so that application logic can be written and maintained in one place without code replication. The assembler itself isn't a separate tool, but rather a collection of C/C++ header files, which applications need to include directly in order to use. At present, Intel...

    Fiwix

    Fiwix

    A UNIX-like kernel for the i386 architecture

FiwixOS 3 is a Fiwix distribution, an operating system made from a software collection that is based upon the Fiwix kernel. It basically comprises a Fiwix kernel, GNU tools, libraries and additional software. All the included software is free and open-source software made available both as compiled binaries and in source code form, which allows modifications to the original software. FiwixOS 3 uses the Newlib v3.1.0 as its C standard library, and the Ext2 as its primary file...

    Code Red Sim

    Code Red Sim

A low-power ISA design and simulator for a 2010 IEEE competition

This is a student project designed to compete in the 2010 IEEE Computer Society Student Competition: http://www.computer.org/portal/web/competition/2010competition The Code Red architecture is designed for extremely lower power environments, like distributed sensor networks. Included is a design of that architecture, a Java-based simulator, an implementation (without vector instructions) designed as a Logisim circuit (http://ozark.hendrix.edu/~burch/logisim/), and more. The name...

    Free Vector Math Library

C math functions vectorized for x86_64

The goal is to provide SSE (and eventually AVX) vectorized forms of C math functions. These function calls are the basis of floating point math, and currently prevent gcc from auto-vectorizing most numeric code. I want to fix that by providing vectorized versions. Presently, the library provides vectorized forms for double precision for about half of the standard C math functions.

Note: I haven't even looked at this project for years. I was a pretty bad programmer back then, so the code is sloppy. The next version will be better. Similar to a stream cipher, but rather than performing an exclusive OR on the input bytes and cipher, it performs a mixture of 'rolling' (see x86 instruction ROR) and bit NOT operations according to the key.
