    Monospaced bitmap fonts

...Patrick Wildt (patrick@) recently imported ssdfb(4), a driver for small OLED displays in OpenBSD and needed a 5x8 font to be able to squeeze more columns and rows on those devices. As someone spending most of his time in a terminal, I have been thinking about drawing my own font for a while, and this was the perfect opportunity. To be able to test character spacing and alignment, I started to use the font in xterm, then a zoomed version, and one thing leading to another, I started creating a 8x16 version, and then bigger versions based on it. ...

    Tiny Multi Bootloader+

Serial Bootloader for Microchip, Atmel, NXP, TI, 8051 microcontrolers

What is it? It's a Bootloader for Microchip, Atmel, NXP, TI and 8051 devices. A Bootloader is a firmware running in the microcontroler device which allows the user to send it's own firmware without the need of a programmer. This Bootloader consists of: - firmwares for many devices (this firmware need to be send to the device's flash memory with a programmer, only once) - a PC software which communicates with the bootloader firmware in the device and send the user's program in its memory Where does it come from? ...

    HelloSilicon

An introduction to ARM64 assembly on Apple Silicon Macs

...Especially for the later three systems it is not a necessity per-se (neither is Xcode 12.2), but it makes things a lot simpler. Finally, while all samples can be adjusted to work on the iPhone and all other of Apple's ARM64 devices, for best results you should have access to an Apple Silicon Mac.

    zxmmcfid

A ZXMMC mass storage device FID driver for CP/M

CP/M Plus on ZX Spectrum +3 has ability to load device drivers from normal disk files (with .fid extension) on boot. One of the most important devices for any disk operating system is the mass storage drive. Although ZXMMC device is available on the market for years and it works well with +3e firmware, partitions created on MMC cards could not be accessed from CP/M world. At some point it became so frustrating, I decided to write FID driver for it. It's not perfect, but it works surprisingly well. ...

    FFT for ARMv6

Fixed point 16/32 integer FFT library for the Raspberry Pi and Android

This library is being created as I have a need to do very fast FFTs on low end devices not supporting the NEON instruction set. The Raspberry Pi is an ideal candidate for developing in gcc before porting to JNI for low spec Android devices, hence it's inclusion. Fixed point 16/32 integer FFT library suitable for the Raspberry Pi and Android devices. Includes test stubs for gcc on the Raspberry Pi and a Basic4Android wrapper from JNI.

    eXtensible Modular Hypervisor Framework

Hypervisor R&D for recent x86 with support for DRTM + 2D paging

...XMHF advocates a "rich" single-guest execution model where the hypervisor framework supports only a single-guest and allows the guest direct access to all performance-critical system devices and device interrupts. XMHF currently runs on recent multicore x86 hardware virtualized platforms with support for dynamic root of trust and nested (2-dimensional) paging. The framework is capable of running unmodified legacy multiprocessor capable OSes such as Windows and Linux. Documentation available at: http://xmhf.sourceforge.net/doc
