The ebe programming environment is a nice IDE designed for developing Assembly programs. It also handles C and C++ programs as well since there was not much extra effort. It used to support Fortran and this could return if people want Fortran. This project is an effort to recode ebe using C++ and QT. Dev65 is a macro assembler, linker and librarian suite for the 6501, 6502, 65C02, 65816 and 65832 family of microprocessors coded in Java for portability. The code is based on a framework that could support other system architectures.

JWasm is a free MASM-compatible assembler with these features: native support for output formats Intel OMF, MS Coff (32/64-bit), Elf (32/64-bit), Binary, Windows PE (32/64-bit) and DOS MZ. precompiled JWasm binaries are available for DOS, Windows and Linux. A standalone powerpc disassembler written as a wrapper over GNU libopcode library. It accepts the opcode ( in hex or decimal ) as it's argument and spits the disassembled output. Recently, a reference assembler has been added. It takes the instruction in string form and spits the assembled 32-bit opcode.It's not fully tested and may not work always.

nsL is a new C-like programming language for writing NSIS installation wizards (http://nsis.sourceforge.net). The nsL assembler takes nsL code and translates it into original NSIS script which can then be compiled.
