    BNB Chain

    BNB Chain

A Binance Smart Chain client based on the go-ethereum fork

The goal of Binance Smart Chain is to bring programmability and interoperability to Binance Chain. In order to embrace the existing popular community and advanced technology, it will bring huge benefits by staying compatible with all the existing smart contracts on Ethereum and Ethereum tooling. And to achieve that, the easiest solution is to develop based on the go-Ethereum fork, as we respect the great work of Ethereum very much. Binance Smart Chain starts its development based on go-ethereum fork. So you may see many toolings, binaries and also docs are based on Ethereum ones, such as the name “geth”. But from that baseline of EVM compatible, Binance Smart Chain introduces a system of 21 validators with Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) consensus that can support short block time and lower fees. The most bonded validator candidates of staking will become validators and produce blocks.

    BoringSSL

    BoringSSL

    Mirror of BoringSSL

BoringSSL is a Google-maintained fork of OpenSSL, designed specifically to meet the security, performance, and maintainability needs of Google’s infrastructure and products. While fully open source, BoringSSL is not intended for general public use — it serves as a streamlined, heavily modified SSL/TLS and cryptography library optimized for Google’s internal ecosystem, including Chrome/Chromium, Android, and other Google services. The project prioritizes security, simplicity, and maintainability over backward compatibility. Unlike OpenSSL, BoringSSL provides no guarantee of stable APIs or ABIs, meaning third-party projects depending on it may frequently break. Google products that use BoringSSL ship their own copies and update them as needed, enabling faster iteration without legacy constraints. BoringSSL includes comprehensive API documentation, build instructions, and guidance for porting code from OpenSSL.

    CryptoSwift

    CryptoSwift

Collection of standard and secure cryptographic algorithms

The master branch follows the latest currently released version of Swift. If you need an earlier version for an older version of Swift, you can specify its version in your Podfile or use the code on the branch for that version. Older branches are unsupported. Swift Package Manager uses debug configuration for debug Xcode build, that may result in significant (up to x10000) worse performance. Performance characteristic is different in Release build. XCFrameworks require Xcode 11 or later and they can be integrated similarly to how we’re used to integrating the .framework format. Embedded frameworks require a minimum deployment target of iOS 9 or macOS Sierra (10.12). CryptoSwift uses array of bytes aka Array<UInt8> as a base type for all operations. Every data may be converted to a stream of bytes. You will find convenience functions that accept String or Data, and it will be internally converted to the array of bytes.

    Firebase Kotlin SDK

    Firebase Kotlin SDK

    A Kotlin-first SDK for Firebase

The Firebase Kotlin SDK is a Kotlin-first SDK for Firebase. Its API is similar to the Firebase Android SDK Kotlin Extensions but also supports multiplatform projects, enabling you to use Firebase directly from your common source targeting iOS, Android, Desktop, or Web, enabling the use of Firebase as a backend for Compose Multiplatform, for example. Unlike the Kotlin Extensions for the Firebase Android SDK this project does not extend a Java-based SDK so we get the full power of Kotlin including coroutines and serialization. Asynchronous operations that return a single or no value are represented by suspending functions in the SDK instead of callbacks, listeners or OS specific types such as Task.

    FirebaseUI for Android

    FirebaseUI for Android

    Optimized UI components for Firebase

FirebaseUI is an open-source library for Android that allows you to quickly connect common UI elements to Firebase APIs. A compatible FirebaseUI client is also available for iOS. FirebaseUI has separate modules for using Firebase Realtime Database, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Auth, and Cloud Storage. To get started, see the individual instructions for each module. FirebaseUI is published as a collection of libraries separated by the Firebase API they target. Each FirebaseUI library has a transitive dependency on the appropriate Firebase SDK so there is no need to include those separately in your app. After the project is synchronized, we're ready to start using Firebase functionality in our app. There is a sample app in the app/ directory that demonstrates most of the features of FirebaseUI.

    Gradle Play Publisher

    Gradle Play Publisher

GPP is Android's unofficial release automation Gradle Plugin

Gradle Play Publisher (GPP) is Android's unofficial release automation Gradle Plugin. It can do anything from building, uploading, and then promoting your App Bundle or APK to publishing app listings and other metadata. The first APK or App Bundle needs to be uploaded via the Google Play Console because registering the app with the Play Store cannot be done using the Play Developer API. For all subsequent uploads and changes, GPP may be used. To successfully upload apps to the Play Store, they must be signed with your developer key. Make sure you have a valid signing configuration. After you've gone through the Service Account setup, you should have a JSON file with your private key. GPP supports uploading both the App Bundle and APK. Once uploaded, GPP also supports promoting those artifacts to different tracks.

    J2ObjC

    J2ObjC

A Java to iOS Objective-C translation tool and runtime

J2ObjC is an open-source command-line tool from Google that translates Java source code to Objective-C for the iOS (iPhone/iPad) platform. This tool enables Java source to be part of an iOS application's build, as no editing of the generated files is necessary. The goal is to write an app's non-UI code (such as application logic and data models) in Java, which is then shared by web apps (using GWT), Android apps, and iOS apps. J2ObjC supports most Java language and runtime features required by client-side application developers, including exceptions, inner and anonymous classes, generic types, threads and reflection. JUnit test translation and execution is also supported. J2ObjC cannot convert Android binary applications. Developers must have source code for their Android app, which they either own or are licensed to use.

    KMM ViewModel

    KMM ViewModel

Library to share Kotlin ViewModels with SwiftUI

A library that allows you to share ViewModels between Android and iOS. The latest version of the library uses Kotlin version 1.9.22. Compatibility versions for older and/or preview Kotlin versions are also available. When subclassing your Kotlin ViewModel in Swift you might experience some issues in the way those ViewModels are cleared. Since currentTimeFlow is a StateFlow we don't ever expect it to fail, which is why we are using the assertNoFailure. However, in this case you'll notice that the publisher will fail with a JobCancellationException. The problem here is that before the TimeTravelViewModel is deinited it will already be cleared. Meaning the viewModelScope is cancelled and onCleared is called. This results in the Combine publisher outliving the underlying StateFlow collection.
