...Using Scaliger's algorithms, you can calculate the number of days between any two calendar dates by converting each date into its unique Julian Day Number and then finding the difference in days between them. Note that the Julian Day Number is not related to the "julian date" in which the year and day of year is used. In the julian date format, the day of year goes from 1 to 365 or 366. -
