    Real-ESRGAN ncnn Vulkan

    Real-ESRGAN ncnn Vulkan

    NCNN implementation of Real-ESRGAN

Real-ESRGAN ncnn Vulkan is an optimized, cross-platform implementation of Real-ESRGAN using the ncnn neural network inference engine and Vulkan for hardware acceleration. Unlike the standard PyTorch-based Real-ESRGAN code, this variant is written in C/C++ and designed to run efficiently on many platforms (including Windows, Linux, and possibly Android) without requiring heavy frameworks like CUDA or Python. It provides command-line tools for upscaling images with selected models, allowing users to specify input/output paths, scaling factors, tile sizes, and model names from a compressed model set, which is particularly helpful for larger images or automated workflows. ...

    CountBitsSet

minimal benchmark code for Counting Set Bits (ones) in an Integer

I was curious how much better the Algorithms, pointed out by BitTwiddling Hacks, perform than a simple Lookup Table approach... Now I think, perhaps my little investigation is interesting for others too... PS: the parallel counting Algo is about 35% faster on average on my computers than a simple LUT based solution. Also this shows nicely how different a human brain compatible solution is to a binary machine optimal solution :-) In the meantime I added other Algorithms beside...

    StructPie

    StructPie

A set of C libraries to implement data structures and algorithms

Struct-Pie (Structures Pie) is a set of C shared libraries to implement data structures and algorithms so that they can be used/integrated easily into C projects. LIFO & FIFO Stack, Binary Search Tree, Priority Queue and a Hash Table are implemented and included in this package. Future releases will have many other data structures. The hash table in this package uses separate chaining to avoid collision. In the "hash_table" directory, the hash table implementation uses linked lists....

    Base62 Encode/Decode Utility

    Base62 Encode/Decode Utility

    A tool for encoding/decoding to base62

the package chewingum contains two main programs: - base62 - chew They have been implemented in perl. Base62 has been coded in c++ too. chew has been written to shorten long decimal integer numbers into base62 strings. It's not a mere base conversion, because it doesn't use arithmetic inside its logic. In this way it can convert very long numbers into strings quickly, without overflows. For example if I want to share an id using an url, this will make the url shorter. the...

    ExRandom

Sampling exactly from the normal and exponential distributions

ExRandom is a small header-only C++11 library for exact sampling from the normal, exponential, and discrete normal distributions (provided that the underlying generator is perfect). This library provides an implementation of the algorithms described in C. F. F. Karney, Sampling exactly from the normal distribution, ACM Trans. Math. Software 42(1), 3:1-14 (Jan. 2016), https://doi.org/10.1145/2710016, https://arxiv.org/abs/1303.6257.

    Supervised Reptile

    Supervised Reptile

Code for the paper "On First-Order Meta-Learning Algorithms"

The supervised-reptile repository contains code associated with the paper “On First-Order Meta-Learning Algorithms”, which introduces Reptile, a meta-learning algorithm for learning model parameter initializations that adapt quickly to new tasks. The implementation here is aimed at supervised few-shot learning settings (e.g. Omniglot, Mini-ImageNet), not reinforcement learning, and includes scripts to run training and evaluation for few-shot classification. The fundamental idea is: sample a...

Code for the MADDPG algorithm from a paper

MADDPG (Multi-Agent Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient) is the official code release from OpenAI’s paper Multi-Agent Actor-Critic for Mixed Cooperative-Competitive Environments. The repository implements a multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm that extends DDPG to scenarios where multiple agents interact in shared environments. Each agent has its own policy, but training uses centralized critics conditioned on the observations and actions of all agents, enabling learning in...

    FuzzyWuzzy

    FuzzyWuzzy

    Fuzzy string matching in Python

We’ve made it our mission to pull in event tickets from every corner of the internet, showing you them all on the same screen so you can compare them and get to your game/concert/show as quickly as possible. Of course, a big problem with most corners of the internet is labeling. One of our most consistently frustrating issues is trying to figure out whether two ticket listings are for the same real-life event (that is, without enlisting the help of our army of interns). To pick an example...

    PRMLT

    PRMLT

Matlab code of machine learning algorithms in book PRML

...The code is extremely compact. Minimizing code length is a major goal. As a result, the core of the algorithms can be easily spotted. Many tricks for speeding up Matlab code are applied (e.g. vectorization, matrix factorization, etc.). Usually, functions in this package are orders faster than Matlab builtin ones (e.g. kmeans). Many tricks for numerical stability are applied, such as computing probability in logrithm domain, square root matrix update to enforce matrix symmetry.

This is a recursive C++ source code of the Fast Fourier Transform algorithm allowing parallelization. Also a performance test and its results on my computer are provided. The Performance test suggest to use 4 threads for parallelization. With this one can beat the implementation in "Numerical Recipes in C++" for large signals with more than 2^16 / 2^17 / 2^18 samples depending on the hardware and software.
