    ULID-Ada

    ULID-Ada

    Implementation of ULID in Ada

A ULID code (Universally Unique Lexicographically Sortable Identifier) is a combination of a 48-bit time stamp (most significant part, with a millisecond accuracy), and a 80-bit random number (least significant part), totalling 128 bits, that is 16 bytes (octets). The package ULID provides two functions Generate. One function produces a 128-bit number that can be output (for instance) in the UUID format. One function produces a string in the Base32 format (Crockford variant) - the...

    Engine_3D

    Engine_3D

    A real-time 3D engine for DOS-talgics (see GLOBE_3D for new stuff !)

Zada is a Zlib implementation fully in Ada. The advantage of Zada is its unconditional portability: native compiled code, but no need to worry about endianness or 32 bit or 64 bit versions, or bindings, or DLL's, or whatever. So far, the project is dormant, but the realization is a straightforward task using two existing SourceForge projects: 1) Clone the ZLib-Ada thick binding project. 2) Replace the functions having Import pragma in Zlib.Thin (zlib-thin.ads) by native ones. For...
