A group of enthusiastic people started to work as volunteers on an interesting software project targeting mobile devices. The main scope of the project is to enable the end users accessing the PMI (Project Management Institute) Romania Chapter's resources no matter it's about of events, project management articles or job postings. The end user has been identified as a member or non-member of PMI Romania Chapter or any project management professional interested to be up-to-date with what is happening inside the PMI community. The software project consists of a front-end application (client) and a back-end application (server). The front-end application should be able to run on smartphones and tablets on different operating systems: iOS (Apple), Android (Google) or QNX (RIM). It's the application for the end-user. The back-end application should be able to run on one of the PMI's Windows/Unix servers. It's the application that should provide content to the front-end.

Very Simple GUI for windows "net send" command using java (1.4.2_06 or newer). Allows a single message but multiple receivers inside the same windows network. Available contacts, inside the netwrok, are shown using the "contacts list" button.

A small jQuery plugin that wraps a Flash-based webcam interface (via .swf) to enable webcam capture and control from JavaScript in web pages. Kidware is currently a few flash apps for helping very young kids with learning mouse control, counting and basic sets. I tried to keep as much distraction out of the games as possible, in part, because I want the kids to focus on learning the tech above being amused. Hopefully kids will quickly learn these techniques and then use them to play some more advanced games. Currently, most of the games do not come with sound or instruction so the teacher/adult may need to demonstrate the game. The games are also up on kongregate.com where some of them use that system to track high scores, however, there is a lot more visual spam on that site. More levels and audio are planned for future updates. Open to suggestions for future games. Check out wudiware.com for some of the other projects, like brainstorm browser, which is more for an older audience.
