This is a sample lossless audio encoder that does not transmit prediction coefficients in the compressed stream. Contains plugins for Winamp and XMPlay for playback of compressed files.

lxmp is a mod (tracker) music player for Linux. It uses BASS (from Un4seen, the creator of XMPlay) for playing the music, written in C++, and the GUI is Gtk 3. Supported formats are XM, IT, S3M, MOD, MTM, UMX and MO3 because that's what BASS supports. Playlist search feature: It is possible to seach for multiple substrings separated by spaces. For example, typing "folder1 .mod" allows moving through all files which contain 'folder1' and '.mod' in the file path.
