Vaio DOS is the greatest DOS distribution of all the times. You may freely use it for personal purpose on a retrocomputer at your own risk. Either way, I'll appreciate knowing you have found it to be helpful, my dear friend. The distro was tested on the Sony Vaio PCG-VX88 (PCG-551L) laptop. It supports networking, USB sticks, and whatnots. Cheers!

This is a GUI for controlling special features in Sony VAIO laptops such as battery charge limiter, keyboard backlight, ambient light sensor, etc. At the moment this depends on Linux and sony-laptop module to function.

This Linux daemon interacts with sony-laptop to provide additional features for Sony VAIO laptops. At the moment it supports automatic dimming of the display backlight and turning on/off keyboard backlight using the built-in ambient light sensor.

The goal of this project is to develop a v4l driver for the Sony R-Engine MPEG2 encoder/decoder (aka Fujitsu's MB86393). The Sony R-Engine MPEG2 encoder/decoder is found in the more recent Sony Vaio Picturebooks (model PCG-C1M* and newer).
