Abaqus UEL implementation of the model presented in the paper,
'Homogenization of 3D Laminated Micro-structures Including Bending Effects', International Journal of Solids and Structures , by İzzet Özdemir.
The project purpose is to help students in the Faculty of Engineering Ain Shams University (I-CHEP) to generate their portfolio in the fastest way possible and to avoid any kind of rejection from UEL
Abaqus implementation (through UEL subroutine) of the incremental energy/dissipation based arc-length method. Suitable for physically non-linear, geometrically linear solid mechanics problems solved through an implicit solution algorithm. The zip file includes a read-me pdf giving information about how to use the files.
The details are presented in the following paper :

Abaqus implementation of phase--field model for brittle fracture
A phase-field model for brittle fracture is implemented in the commercial finite element software Abaqus by means of UEL subroutine. The phase-field method considerably reduces the implementation complexity for fracture problems as it removes the need for numerical tracking of discontinuities in the displacement field that are characteristic of discrete crack methods. This is accomplished by replacing the sharp discontinuities with a scalar damage phase-field representing the diffuse crack topology wherein the amount of diffusion is controlled by a regularization parameter. ...
