FreeDOS Preinstalled Images
Larger Preinstalled Live Enviroments of FreeDOS 1.3
These images contained in this project are for larger sized installs of Freedos. Each size contains both a VirtualBox image and a HDD/USB image file that contain both the "Plain DOS" and "Full Install" of FreeDOS 1.3, I noticed that the FreeDOS installer seems to cap hard drives at 2GB unless specifically specified by dropping out of the installer and running a bunch more commands. -

FDNPKG is an online update tool for the FreeDOS operating system. It allows to install, remove and update software on a FreeDOS installation using online (http) or local (on disk/cdrom) repositories. It is written by Mateusz Viste for the FreeDOS™ project, but can be used on other DOS systems as well. FDNPKG means "FreeDOS Network Package manager". -

Microsoft has Windows, Linux has GNOME and KDA, but poor FreeDOS, the best OS available has practically nothing. This is an attempt to provide a powerful, full graphics user interface for it.
