...This project is far from done but I prefer to get the code out there to be used by whomever. KotCity is a city simulator written in Kotlin inspired by the statistical city simulators of old. This game aims to achieve a mark somewhere between SimCity (1989) and SC2000. Hopefully, this mark will be hit and we can set our sights higher. The game will be fully supported on Windows, macOS, and Linux. -

"Sims 3 Package Interface" provides a core library of portable code that "understands" Sims3 game packages. Note that (with some minor tweaks) the core library code also understands other game package formats (e.g. SimCity Online, Sims4). Along with the core library are a number of "wrappers" that provide the main part of the project. These handle deserialization and serialization of data within the package (or any other source). Further tools (not supplied here) can use the core library and wrappers to manipulate the data content of package files. ... -

This Java package handles DBPF files which are used in SimCity 4. The NEW version (2.0) has all functions in one JDBPF package. JavaDoc can be found here: "http://caspervg.net/jdbpf/javadoc/". The OLD version (<1.6) has its basic functions packaged in the DBPF4J. Extended functions which needs some libraries (XTools) are in the DBPF4J-Ext package.
