Redis is awesome, but Redis commands are not always intuitive. Pottery is a Pythonic way to access Redis. If you know how to use Python dicts, then you already know how to use Pottery. Pottery is useful for accessing Redis more easily, and also for implementing microservice resilience patterns, and it has been battle-tested in production at scale.

PotterDraw is a free 3D software application for designing and visualizing pottery. It’s useful for creating cylindrical shapes such as pots, flasks, vases, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, goblets, or anything similar. The outer wall of the pot is drawn using a spline, which consists of one or more curved or linear segments. The inner wall is generated automatically. PotterDraw can export files suitable for 3D printing.

GraVol is designed to aid archaeologists in calculating the volume of any revolved container, such as wheel-thrown pottery. It does this using only a drawing of the vessel, and a height or diameter measurement.
