Picross is a logic game in which you have to fill squares in a grid to reveal a picture. Licensed under CeCILL, it's a free software written in Java. It can be run as a stand-alone application, as an applet, or as an Android application (WIP).

Currently in it's early stages of development, Pi-X will be an Open Source Picross (Nonogram) game on the Microsoft XNA Framework. Planned features include normal Picross gameplay as well as multiplayer support. A level editor is also planned.

Tileminator is a Picross, Nonogramm, Paint-by-Numbers similar game. In contrast to these games it uses randomly generated puzzles. It features three riddlesizes and three difficulties. It is written in C and uses SDL, SDL_image and SDL_ttf.
