    TracTrac

    TracTrac

    Massive Object Tracking Software (Matlab/Python)

TracTrac is a Particle Tracking Velocimetry (PTV) software which is extremely fast (more than 10k points tracked per second, 100k under python) and accurate (up to 0.01 pixel resolution), forming thus a good concurrent to the state-of-the art PIV/PTV algorithms. It allows to track anything that moves: birds, ants, grains, water flows... It runs on Python (v2&3) or Matlab (>2012a with Image Processing toolbox).

    NOS Particle Tracking

We are developing a C++ particle tracker for the chesapeake bay based

The CBOLT project has been moribund for a number of years now. But we may re-birth it. For inspiration see the document (ACMGIS_2009_Vance.pdf) Integrating particle tracking models into a GIS for analysis and display of environmental phenomena, Tiffany Vance, Sharon Mesick, Scott Cross (2009). The software uses 4th order Runge Kutta, with a clever interpolation scheme based on irregular triangular mesh which can be adapted to any hydrodynamic model gridding method, from finite elements to Arakawa C. ...

    MDA

    Molecular Dynamics Analyzer (MDA)

MDA is a 3D single-particle tracking software that explicitly addresses fluorescence microscopy experiments deep in living specimens. It is capable of minimizing the systematic error that occurs with astigmatism-based 3D techniques owing to the aberrations induced by the refractive index mismatch. In contrast to existing techniques, the method determines the aberration directly from the acquired 2D image stream by exploiting the inherent particle movement and the redundancy introduced by the astigmatism. ...

    LiquidFun

    LiquidFun

    2D physics engine for games

...It provides support for procedural animation of physical bodies to make objects move and interact in realistic ways. You can write LiquidFun code in C++, Java, or JavaScript. LiquidFun is an extension of Box2D. It adds a particle based fluid and soft body simulation to the rigid body functionality of Box2D. LiquidFun can be built for many different systems, including Android, iOS, Windows, OS X, Linux, and JavaScript. For applications on Google Play that integrate this tool, usage is tracked. This tracking is done automatically using the embedded version string (b2_liquidFunVersionString), and helps us continue to optimize it. ...

    mSim_npsat

Groundwater flow and transport simulation Matlab Toolbox

...mSim toolbox is a suite of Matlab functions which are primarily used to simulate Non Point Source Pollution in Groundwater aquifers based on Finite element methods. The current version of mSim solves the following equations in steady state: 1) Groundwater flow equation. 2) Particle Tracking. 3) 1D Advection dispersion equation. In addition mSim provides a number of functions which assist with the pre/post-processing tasks involve in a Finite Element simulation as well as functions which are used in the Non Point Source modeling such as convolution functions etc. mSim uses Finite Element Method. For the mesh generation we rely on Gmsh generator, and for visualization we used Paraview.
