Zgoubi is a raytracing code. Since 1972 it pushes charged particles through accelerators and beam lines, by stepwise solution of Lorentz force equation - and their spins via Thomas-BMT differential equation. Zgoubi simulates beam dynamics and polarization in a variety of accelerators (storage ring, synchrotron, cyclotron, betatron, microtron, FFAG, multi-pass ERL, etc) and optical systems (beam lines, magnetic and electrostatic optical components, time-of-flight and mass...

    MUSCtR

A programme for fitting Neutron Reflectivity data from "rough" samples

MUSCtR is a crude programme written in Python to allow the fitting of data from Neutron Reflectivity experiments (in particular with ISIS Neutron and Muon Source in mind). More refined programmes are available (Motofit, RasCAL). However, this programme was written to allow fitting of samples with larger surface "undulations". The programme allows one layer in a given model to be given a variable thickness (characterised by "d_thick"). The programme calculates the total reflectivity from the combination of three reflectivity curves (with the central curve using a greater intensity). ...

    Muon SSH Terminal/SFTP client

    Muon SSH Terminal/SFTP client

Graphical SFTP client and terminal emulator with helpful utilities

Easy and fun way to work with remote servers over SSH. This project is being renamed as previous name "Snowflake" is confusing since there is already a popular product with the same name. Muon is a graphical SSH client. It has an enhanced SFTP file browser, SSH terminal emulator, remote resource/process manager, server disk space analyzer, remote text editor, huge remote log viewer, and lots of other helpful tools, which makes it easy to work with remote servers. Muon provides functionality similar to web-based control panels but, it works over SSH from the local computer, hence no installation is required on the server. ...
