...Now Etap 10 Improved Bugfixv is released. There are now four verions to download. the higher the version the more advanced it becomes. ETAP7 includes only hand combat and movement. ETAP8 also includes missile and arrow actions. ETAP9 makes further combat possible, among others bridges can be laid on the rivers during battle. Now only the AI player remains to be programmed. ...As mentioned above, I used a dissassembled and annotated version of the original game's source code as a reference in creating this software. Certain pieces of the code could be considered "emulation" - for example, the player/missile collision detection is, in a way, emulating that particular part of the original hardware. I also kept all the game data in the same format as the original source where practical to ensure the most accuracy possible. -

...Islaki defender is a program I wrote a few years ago for python 2.7. I have tried updating for Python3, however pygame does not appear to be compatible just yet. This game is similar to Missile Command however it adds an extra dimension of variability. The name of this program came about when I tried to do a trick-shot with my keyboard. I was typing in "island", spun around after the 'a', and hit between the 'k' and 'i' keys, resulting in the word "islaki". I just never bothered to fix it.
