Compile and call inlined Fortran 2003 source code from Perl
This project features the use-case "matopmul" to demonstrate the operation of the Perl module Inline::F2003. This module allows modern Fortran source to be compiled and executed from Perl in a transparent manner. The program "matopmul.pl" performs a matrix multiplication. The matrix multiplication is written in Fortran 2003 and inlined in the Perl program.
FortWrap is a python script that parses Fortran 90/95/200X source files and generates wrapper code in the form of C++ classes. FortWrap is intended to be used with object oriented Fortran code that makes use of Fortran derived types.

Compile matlab mex files with gcc on Windows Platforms
Gnumex is a package that allows Matlab mex and engine files written in C, C++, Fortran 77 or Fortran 95 to be compiled with MinGW (or Cygwin) MS Windows versions of gcc, gfortran or g95. NOTE: Newer versions of Matlab now natively support Mingw, negating the need for this package.
This project aims at providing a parser for fortran source code. Output is in XML format. The parser is based on the g95 parser. Additionnal tools in Perl are provided: Fortran source browser; pseudo-compiler environment.

The purpose of this project was to prepare gfortran for integration into gcc. Since this integration was completed in the summer of 2003, this project is now finished. You can find information about gfortran on http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/GFortran/
