These libraries can be used to access the following spectromters: - C10082, C10083 and C11007MA (untested just now) from Hamamatsu - AvaSpec-ULS2048 (not working at the moment) - OceanOptics USB 4000 (not working at the moment) Please notify me which types work or what does not work! -

workaround sleep (suspend) problems
thinkpad L412, suspend fine but always failed and freeze on wakeup, with kernel 4.4, 4.6 and 4.7, but long term kernel 3.18.40 and 4.1.33 running fine, i use source from vanilla kernel at kernel.org, for now both of them are recommended, 3.18.40 had proven for days with multiple suspend-resume cycles, 4.8.0-rc6 is running fine with suspend-resume features -

HPC Challenge benchmark consists of 7 tests: (1) HPL - the Linpack TPP benchmark which measures the floating point rate of execution for solving a linear system of equations. (2) DGEMM - measures the floating point rate of execution of double precision real matrix-matrix multiplication. (3) STREAM - a simple synthetic benchmark program that measures sustainable memory bandwidth (in GB/s) and the corresponding computation rate for simple vector kernel. (4) PTRANS (parallel matrix transpose) - exercises the communications where pairs of processors communicate with each other simultaneously - a useful test of the total communication capacity of the network. (5) RandomAccess - measures the rate of integer random updates of memory (GUPS). (6) FFT - measures the floating point rate of execution of double precision complex one-dimensional Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT). Do you want to hide startup kernel and init messages but do you need to type LUKS decription password during boot time? splash4slack allow you to put a background framebuffer image and to write messages over background using pre-rasterized ttf Mono fonts (software transparency). splash4slack is made by 3 binaries: fbdec, the frame buffer decorator, run as daemon, and wait for messages coming on a named pipe; fbput control the daemon sending commands to the named pipe (you can print strings, move cursor, clear background, and send 'backspace'); ttyread read characters typed on keyboard. -

...end of story it's possible with one commandline to do the round trip , copy to another host , have that host install package, and have the host reboot (maybe not on first try ok ? :) The comparison to script shipped with kernel (circa 2012): 1) gmil works or attempts to work across many releases 2) gmil works harder to make packaged installable result(s) 3) gmil has a smart way to build many kernels at once / at a keypress 4) the scripts/ _can do most of those steps but _don't combine them, leaving maybe allot to read and type.
