I created this utility when we were migrating to a new platform and needed a quick way to create flatfile and relational sources and targets that matched the DDL of the table. Project to execute SQL queries from an SQL file. Once the file is loaded you can export the result to an Excel or PDF file or to view it with Jasper Viewer. The file loaded can be seen in a textarea. This textarea is editable so that you can edit your query at runtime and export it. For the time being you can't include parameters to the query. The best of this project is that you really don't know how many columns of the table of your database are and this project dinamically does this. -

there are several small applications in C# for importing and or exporting DBF (foxpro database) files. none of them supports for FARSI or ARABIC unicodes, so i completed their application to involve it. it has one drow-back i know : it cant convert farsi unicodes to DBF version as well as needed. whole project is written in C# and solution is attached here, so you can change and modify it. -

...(java -jar DatabaseJAR.jar) The application allows users to create tables, add data to the tables, view data from tables using various filters, back-up and restore the database, read commands from a text file, perform various set operations (such as union and intersection) on tables, and define indices on tables to allow faster manipulation. (To simplify the binary tree structure, the define index command assumes there is no duplicate data in the table column on which the index is defined). The tables' metadata are stored in .xml files, and the row data is stored in .bin files. Test cases and code are provided. This project uses JUnit 4 (only for test cases) and SAXReader (for parsing .xml). A description of the available commands is provided in "commandSyntax.txt". -
