Super lightweight task scheduler aimed at 8 bit AVR ATmega micro-controllers (perfect for Arduino), although it can easily be used on other hardware like Microchip PIC.
It uses simple round-robin scheduling so no priority levels can be set. You choose the time interval by calling dispatchTick(), this is usually in a timer interrupt.
Range for number of tasks: 0 to 255 tasks
Range for delay: 0 to 65535 ticks
Each task only uses 5 byte of RAM. The one task LED blink example only uses...
Smart home thermostat with touch screen and home automation
This project includes both hardware- and software design for a new innovative Home Thermostat.
It is based on NXP ARM-M series microcontroller and offers a large touch screen. All software and interfaces are open allowing other users to add custom hardware, such as sensors and actuators for home automation.
Also, a network connection is provided (WIFI optional) to allow mobile apps to communicate with the home thermostat to set and read values and/or control the home automation system.
Possibly the final build of my LED Sphere project.
The sphere is composed of nine slices, each of which has one or several concentric circles of LEDs on its surface. The slices are laid out vertically, offset from each other roughly one inch with standoffs between each layer which from a short distance will appear spherical in shape. Current layout contains 766 total LEDs to obtain good animation resolution.
The LEDs are animated with a PIC18 microcontroller, the driver software...
Graphical Microcontroller Programming (GMP) is an expert-in-a-box solution which provides an intuitive user interface giving non-professionals the chance to easily create microcontroller programs by graphical means. Vienna University of Technology.
BASIC interpreter for the 16bit PIC microcontroller 24FJ64GA002. The interpreter runs on the chip only, no compiler/tokenizer is needed. Communication with PC is done by USB-to-serial converter cable.
umake is a simple bash script with a bunch of Makefile template files that act as a front-end for GNU make. The script was designed to be used with microcontroller toolchains such as AVR-GCC, PIC and 8051, but it can support GCC and Flex as well.
mspgcc4 is no longer supported. Please use the newer toolchain at the MSPGCC project. (This was a port of the GCC 4.x branch to the Texas Instruments MSP430 microcontroller core. It is based on the MSPGCC project that is stuck with GCC 3.2.3.)
Proactively monitor, manage, and support client networks with ConnectWise Automate
Out-of-the-box scripts. Around-the-clock monitoring. Unmatched automation capabilities. Start doing more with less and exceed service delivery expectations.
Porcupine2 is a small wearable sensory unit for logging motion data and doing low-level activity recognition. The project includes electronic schematics for the hardware, software for the microcontroller and client-side software for hardware-interaction.
Stampede contains all elements of a design environment for the Stamp microcontroller. It supports compilation, downloading, and full two-way communication with the Stamp. Additionally, it allows the Stamp to write text and binary files on the host.
QSerMyAvr is a Qt based graphical serial port ASCII/hex terminal (not only) for use with the mySmartUSB avr programmer. It automatically switches the mySmartUSB to data mode when activated and back when deactivated.
There is a new project by a French company which aim is to develop a new hardware which contains UPS items managed by microcontrollers. The software will communicate with the uControllers. The main task is to manage the uControllers via commands.
This project aims to create a Makefile based build environment for microcontrollers, with the focus on easy maintainable software configuration/builds as well as easy shareability of code amongst developers.
Sharing software code around the Didel and Z-Control Microcontroller board PICSTAR and STARLET. The project will include functional test routines, drivers and applciations in diverse programming languages such as CALM, SDCC and others.
A complete Footstep Monitoring System composed by a special insole controlled by a microcontroller and the associated PC software for monitoring and view the results.
ACTIface (A Customizable TP-UART Interface) connects a PC to a KNX TP1 (EIB TP) network. It is built around a popular ASIC (the TP-UART) and optionally includes a microcontroller for improving communication with the PC (or standalone operation).
Software and hardware for a radio controlled 'laser' combat game. A microcontroller is connected to a radio receiver and can send IR signals to another player with the same setup. When a valid IR code is received initially the throttle will be cut.
Ddr-Z8E is a device driver library for the Zilog Z8 Encore!(r) microcontroller. The library supports I/O, IRQ, RS-232, I2C, SPI, A/D, WDT, ticker and built in flash memory as well as utility modules, e.g. for debugging and binary number representation.
