...Radiance is superior to simpler lighting calculation and rendering tools in that there are no limitations on the geometry or the materials that may be simulated. Scene geometry, materials, luminaires, time, date and sky conditions (for daylight calculations) are specified; spectral radiance (ie. luminance + color), irradiance (illuminance + color) and glare indices are calculated. Simulation results may be displayed as color images, numerical values and contour plots. Radiance is useful for architects and engineers in predicting illumination, visual quality and appearance of innovative design spaces; and for researchers in evaluating new lighting and daylighting technologies.

Voxel raycasting engine written in C++ drawed by SFML, curently in alpha preview state. Currently rays are computed by CPU and performance is low and far away from realtime.

Labyrinth 3D is a program to render the light and shadow situation on the walls of a 3D labyrinth under a natural sunny sky, and then to walk and look around in the labyrinth. In places where no sunlight, skylight or reflections of them can reach, lamps can be put. The geometry of the labyrinth is purposely held simple to allow for fast computation. The labyrinth is generated randomly, based on a single number, the "level number". There is also a level editor where one can place blocks and stairs by hand.

A project created from scratch to gain experience with game design and graphics engines. Currently it contains a solid GUI framework, terrain/world editor, sprite system, sky box system and entity manager.
