    Browser extension for rendering isometric pixel art charts

    This is a browser extension for Chrome/Brave and Firefox that lets you toggle between your regular GitHub contribution chart and an isometric pixel art version. It uses obelisk.js for isometric graphics. Besides being sort of neat looking, this view is interesting in that it highlights the differences between the number of contributions with more granularity. This isn't meant to completely replace the standard 2D graph though, because in most ways it is actually less useful. For example, there are no axis labels, shorter bars can be hidden behind taller ones, you can't hover over a bar to see the day and count, etc. If you want to hack on the extension, you'll need to install it manually. First clone or fork this repo. Then, on your Chrome Extensions page, make sure "Developer mode" is checked. You can then click the "Load unpacked extension" button and browse to the src directory of this repo.

The system represents scenes as millions of optimized 3D Gaussians rather than traditional meshes or neural fields, allowing high-quality novel view synthesis with real-time rendering performance. It includes training scripts, rendering tools, scene conversion utilities, and viewers for inspecting generated results. The project is widely used in computer graphics, spatial capture, virtual production, research, and experimental 3D reconstruction workflows. It relies on image-based reconstruction pipelines such as COLMAP to estimate camera positions before optimizing the Gaussian representation. Overall, Gaussian Splatting has become a foundational reference implementation for modern real-time radiance field rendering.

    Radiance is a free, highly accurate ray-tracing software system for UNIX computers. It is a suite of programs designed for the analysis and visualization of lighting in design. Radiance is superior to simpler lighting calculation and rendering tools in that there are no limitations on the geometry or the materials that may be simulated. Scene geometry, materials, luminaires, time, date and sky conditions (for daylight calculations) are specified; spectral radiance (ie. luminance + color), irradiance (illuminance + color) and glare indices are calculated. Simulation results may be displayed as color images, numerical values and contour plots. Radiance is useful for architects and engineers in predicting illumination, visual quality and appearance of innovative design spaces; and for researchers in evaluating new lighting and daylighting technologies.

Inspired by the vpython manifesto "3D programming for ordinary mortals", vedo makes it easy to work with 3D pointclouds, meshes and volumes, in just a few lines of code, even for less experienced programmers. vedo is based on VTK and numpy, with no other dependencies. Import meshes from VTK format, STL, Wavefront OBJ, 3DS, Dolfin-XML, Neutral, GMSH, OFF, PCD (PointCloud). Export meshes as ASCII or binary to VTK, STL, OBJ, PLY formats. Analysis tools like Moving Least Squares, mesh morphing and more. Tools to visualize and edit meshes (cutting a mesh with another mesh, slicing, normalizing, moving vertex positions, etc..). Split mesh based on surface connectivity. Extract the largest connected area. Calculate areas, volumes, center of mass, average sizes etc. Calculate vertex and face normals, curvatures, feature edges. Fill mesh holes.
