GoCity is an implementation of the Code City metaphor for visualizing Go source code. The UI is built with React and uses babylon.js to plot 3D structures. The front-end source code is available in the front-end branch. The Number of Lines of Source Code (LOC) represents the build color (high values makes the building dark) The Number of Variables (NOV) correlates to the building's base size. The Number of methods (NOM) correlates to the building height.

Extrude the front/rear faces several times, adding random translation/scaling/rotation along the way. Add asymmetry to the hull: Pick random faces and extrude them out in a similar manner, reducing in scale each time. Categorize each face by its orientation and generate details on it such as engines, antenna, weapon turrets, lights etc.

Primarily for use with the REVEAL web system this daemon polls a mysql database for 3d rendering requests. Currently the system will handle PMVS2 from U. Wash and Iray from Brown U. systems. Much of the code was ported from the osm-bundler system http://code.google.com/p/osm-bundler/ The daemon curently runs in win64/linux64 for PMVS and linux64 for Brown's Iray algroithm.
