Overview of Zen Player for Android

Zen Player is a complimentary Android app from VdoCipher Media Solutions that streams protected video content supplied by partner entertainment and e-learning sites. It does not currently support playback of files stored locally on your device.

How to begin streaming

• Install the Zen Player app on your Android device, then visit a participating website and refresh the page; a play button will appear that launches the app and starts streaming.
• The interface is straightforward and requires no complicated setup — just install and open via the partner site’s play control.

Modern browser behavior and updates

• Recent updates introduced an HTML5 embedded player for Chrome on Android, allowing videos to play directly in the browser without switching to the separate app on most newer devices.
• For a small number of older Android phones and tablets, the dedicated Zen Player app may still be required to view protected streams.

Limitations and help

• Note: local video files are not supported by this application at present.
• If you run into problems loading or playing a video, reach out to the website’s administrator for assistance.
