Getting started

• Copy the program folder to a Windows PC; no installation step is required.
• Launch the executable, then connect your iPod. The app will scan the device and display its folders and audio files.
• Note: Yamipod won’t automatically start when an iPod is connected — it only runs when you open it manually.

• Transfer audio in both directions: move MP3 and AAC files from the iPod to your computer and back again.
• Browse your collection by artist, album or playlist, and inspect detailed tag information for individual tracks.

How to move and remove files

• To add files to the iPod: drag audio files from Windows Explorer and drop them onto Yamipod’s window.
• To eliminate duplicate entries: run the duplicate finder, review the list of matches it produces, and confirm which files to delete.

Limitations and use cases

Yamipod is not intended to replace iTunes for advanced syncing, device backups or media store features. Instead, it’s best suited for users who want a small, no-install tool to quickly manage audio files on an iPod without the overhead of a full media suite.
