You spend most of the experience sitting at a virtual workstation, hunting for eight hidden keys. Those keys combine to form a URL that unlocks a notorious hidden site known as the Red Room. Along the way you must decrypt clues, solve mini-puzzles and manage in-game systems to avoid being tracked or compromised by malicious actors and automated attacks. A persistent, unseen adversary also stalks you, escalating the tension and adding a constant threat of intrusion.

The main goal is to locate the eight pieces required to build the final address that grants access to the Red Room — a clandestine service where viewers can observe and sometimes affect violent acts broadcast online. Progress demands both careful sleuthing and the ability to stay one step ahead of digital traps and the entities that protect them.
